MD PART 1 (Obs. & Gyn.) OCTOBER
 

Dr.Hemantha Perera was inducted as the 26th President of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists on 7th January 2012. The induction ceremony was conducted at Mihilaka Madura of BMICH from 5.30 pm onwards. The Chief Guest of the program was Prof.Marian Hall from Aberdeen, Scotland. The Guest of Honours were Mrs.Hemamali Rupasinghe & Dr.Yap Lip Kee from Singapore. Past Presidents, secretaries and members of SLCOG, Presidents, Secretaries and members of other Professional Colleges and many other health and non health care professionals participated in the program. The induction ceremony was followed by a cultural program and a dinner.

SHO training programme 3

The SHO training programme 3 was successfully held from 1st to 3rd September 2011 at NIHS Kalutara. This was coordinated by Dr Mangala Dissanayake. Twenty three SHOs were trained in this programme.

SHO Training Programme 2

SHO training programme 2 was successfully held for the Colombo group of SHOs at the castle street hospital auditorium with participation of 22 SHOs.

They were trained on labour room management, basic surgical skills and management of obstetric emergencies.More>>
