A joint session with College of Haematologists was held on 25th of April 2010 at the board room of Faculty of Medicine , Colombo. There were over 60 participants at this session and a wide variety of topics of haematological interest in obstetrics & gynaecology were covered. An interesting feature of the session was the use of pre and post MCQ tests using an electronic audience participation system. The picture shows Dr Nishadya Ranasinghe, President, college of haematologists addressing the audience. Prof. Hemantha Senanayake organized this symposium.
